Even the Earth is Cold...

We walk through a completely deep frozen valley, actually even the soil was cracked by the spikes of ice coming out from down below the ground. The shoe soles gave back a very unusual and peculiar feeling while they broke crystals, pushing under our weight. After midday the clouds thinned and the blue of the sky warmed up colours and spirits for the rest of our walking back.

From The Sky To The Ground

Thinking about the last summer. Fascinating excursion in Val Pramper, a typical dolomitic glacial valley of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park. The steep rocky slopes surround the wide valley with extensive screes, partly cloaked in coniferous forests and debris, spotted by mountain pines.

Green, Blue & Yellow Rapsody

At the beginning of this brief but intense walk, some deep grey clouds were threatening a stormy day. After a while and some light drops of rain later, the blue sky peeped out and shed light on the wonderful autumn colours...
